Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation - Awards and Honors

Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation - Awards and Honors

A week ago I joined the registry of gift of life. The feeling of having the possibility to save a life is inexplicable. Saturday, I received my swab kit and it's ready to be sent back today for testing and hopefully, I am a match!

To join the registry, there is a donation fee of $54 dollars, however, I found a code (GOLYPC) to make it FREE!

Yes, if one really wants to make a difference there is no obstacles only the ones we put on ourselves.

  6. What a great saying, I have to agree that the only obstacle in a persons life can be is the person him/herself. Bone Marrow donations are one of the more painful procedures, so i give you major props!

  11. Thank you all for your kind support. I'm aware that this procedure is very painful, but I also know that the emotional pain of losing a love one is harder to endure than any physical pain and not to mention the pain of the person who is fighting for his/her life. In my opinion, they are the real troopers trying to stay alive.

  19. For what i heard, donating marrow is very painful. There are 2 ways, one of them is getting shots every day during 2 weeks to ease the extraction later with a HUGE needle, the other path...hmmm cant remember but i think it hurted like shit too.
